Introduction:- Human physiology studies the physical and biochemical processes that support the body s function while anatomy studies the structures of the human body. Anatomy is divided into two parts which are histology: this is the atomic study of tissues and Cytology is the atomic study of cells. This unit focuses on both the anatomic feature this involves the morphology and forms of the part of the body and physiological features of the human body this involves the function of the part of the body on a regular basis. Anatomy of the human body allows us to know how different systems in the body functions and how they interrelate with one and other in order for the body to achieve homeostasis (Marieb, 2007). Digestive system allows the body break down food into different essential nutrients to be d igested. This happens when transformation of vital nutrients and energy that are the important source for nourishing the body and its related functions. (Inner Body, 2016). Stages of digestion involves Ingestion which is the first stage where food intake takes place via the mouth. Then Secretion is when these fluids include saliva, mucus, hydrochloric acid, enzymes, and bile. Swallowing. This process involves smooth and skeletal muscles in the mouth, tongue, and pharynx to shove food out of the mouth via the pharynx into the esophagus. 3 Respiratory system: It consist of three main parts which are the airway, the lungs, and the muscles. The airway includes the nose, mouth, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, and bronchioles. The oxygen passes via the lung into the body and carbon dioxide exit the body. Muscles includes the diaphragm and intercostals muscles. The function of respiratory system is for Gaseous exchange to occur between the human body and the environments by which inhaling of Oxygen from air and exhaling Carbon-Dioxide and water are released into the atmosphere (Agostoni, 1964) 4. The typical advice is to apply to 6 to 8 schools. But make sure you choose those schools carefully. This may sound obvious, but if you cant picture yourself being happy at a school, dont apply to it. Also, dont apply to a school simply because it has a great reputation or its where your mom went or its where all your friends are going. You should only apply to a college because you can see it playing a meaningful role in reaching your personal and professional goals. Deciding How Many College Applications to Submit Begin with 15 or so possible choices and narrow down your list after carefully researching schools, visiting their campuses, and talking with students. Apply to those schools that are a good match for your personality, interests, and career goals. Also, be sure to apply to a selection of schools that will maximize your chances of being accepted somewhere. Look at the school profiles, and compare the admissions data to your own academic record and test scores. A wise selection of schools might look something like this: Reach Schools These are schools with highly selective admissions. Your grades and scores are below the averages for these schools. When you study the admissions data, you find that theres a possibility youll get in, but its a bit of a long shot. Be realistic here. If you got a 450 on your SAT Math and you apply to a school where 99% of applicants got over a 600, youre almost guaranteed a rejection letter. By having money, a car, a big house, nice clothes and a happy family symbolizes the true American dream. Writing this speech also enabled me acquire the skills of writing papers from first person context. I believe that these are very critical skills that will help me throughout my entire course and even after my studies. Throughout the semester, I have gained skills necessary for understanding and utilizing logic while writing. I am now aware that for any writing to be scholarly, it must possess an introductory section, a body and a conclusion section. Further, I am now able to understand as well as utilize most of the basic techniques useful in pre-writing, revision and editing. I can now form opinions with ease as well as express it with precision and clarity through writing. Further, I am also able to deduce the premise of most writers after reading a number of scholarly writings. In deed, this semester’s assignments have shaped my writing and critical thinking skills. I am now able to understand the meaning of several written works, conduct a rhetoric examination, write opinion papers, and analyze speeches, write critical analysis papers as well as effectively reference my assignments. Though I found it challenging throughout the semester, I am now able to use several examples while writing my assignments. The semester’s activities have really paid me out. As the semester started, I had a mediocre performance but I can now ascertain that as the semester ends, I am now among the best students in the whole class.
